Beautiful Paper Sunflowers for Fall
No reviews
Gail, artist and creator of the blog, That Artist Woman, posted an awesome tutorial for making these beautiful, fall inspired newspaper sunflowers. We think they'd make a fabulous project for your little crafters!
Supplies You'll Need
- Petal template
- Recycled newspaper
- Coffee filters
- Scissors
- Orange and yellow liquid tempera paint
- Paint brushes
- Recycled cereal box
- Brown felt
- Poppy seeds
- Craft glue
- Twigs
This project requires several steps and, for younger crafters, might work best if spread across a couple days. For instance - on the first day, students can create special paper for the craft using the recycled newspaper, coffee filters, and craft paint. Then, on the second day {when the paper is officially dry}, students can set about assembling their fall sunflowers.
Gail provides an awesome tutorial for this craft so be sure to head on over to That Artist Woman for the details!
