Interactive Ladybugs - Independent Counting Practice
By Kayla • April 3, 2018

How cute are these interactive counting ladybugs created by Mari-Ann of Counting Coconuts?! Perfect for independent review, students are invited to determine the number of dots on each ladybug by counting them, then open up the wings to view the answer in numeral format.
Supplies You'll Need
- Red, black, and white construction paper
- Black marker
- Brass paper fasteners
- Ladybug template {You can find a simple template here, print it onto the colored paper, then cut and assemble to save time! All you'll have to do is draw the spots on and write the numbers inside.}
[NOTE: You could also create interactive counting bees, inviting students to determine the number of stripes!]
For this activity and lots of other great early childhood learning ideas, be sure to visit Counting Coconuts!
