Easter Literacy & Critical Thinking - What's in the Egg?
Here's another fun Easter game that will have your kiddos using their critical thinking skills! First, Jodi of Fun in First provided each of her kiddos with a plastic Easter egg and a note {she provides the adorable printable for FREE at her blog}, inviting them to select an item from home to put in the egg then come up with three clues to describe it. Back in class, her kiddos pretended to be super Easter sleuths as they listened to classmates read their clues and tried to figure out what was inside. Oh what fun!
Game variation...
As we were thinking about this game, we thought it might also be a fun way to help your preschoolers practice beginning letter sounds. Placing letter tiles or magnets in each plastic egg, read off three words that have that beginning letter sound and invite your kiddos to identify what letter is in the egg.
