Conversation Heart Counting

By Kayla • April 3, 2018

Conversation hearts offer a fun and colorful manipulative to use in your February math centers! We found these fun counting activities floating around Pinterest and thought we'd pass them along. We just love the different variations!

The creators of Greatest Resource Educational Home Childcare and Preschool created heart puzzles with one half of the heart featuring a numeral and the other half featuring hearts for students to count and match.

Rebecca over at Roots And Wings Co simply created numeral headings, inviting her kiddos to count out the correct number of manipulatives and line them up beneath them.

Deb of Living Montessori Now created two cards; number cards and counting cards. With the number cards in order, students were invited to identify the numeral and count out the correct number of candies to place on the counting card beneath.

Aren't these fun?! We know your preschoolers will have a blast with one {or all!} of these candy heart counting stations this February!
