Sensory Earth Day Craftivity

Cheryl Golangco over at Little Running Teacher shared this fabulous sensory craftivity and we thought it would make a fun addition to your Earth Day plans! It's super simple and we know your kiddos will love feeling the squishy paint between their toes.
Supplies You'll Need
- White bulletin board paper
- Green and blue craft paint
- Spray bottle or squirt gun
- Shallow pan or tray
We love the different elements of the project - spray bottle painting is great for fine motor control and creating prints with their feet provides a super fun sensory experience! As they work, invite your kiddos to discuss how the paint feels - wet, squishy, etc. We also love the idea of having students work together to create the earth print! [NOTE: When dry, the finished Earth cutout would make a great bulletin board decoration.]
Pair this fantastic craft with some Earth Day literature, perhaps a memorable Earth Day poem, and this is sure to be a crowd pleaser! For the full project tutorial, be sure to visit Little Running Teacher!
