Pop Bottle Polar Bear Craft
How adorable is this polar bear craft made from a recycled pop bottle?! You kiddos are sure to love the cutesy bear and, as always, will be amazed to see what can be created using materials from the recycling bin!
Supplies You'll Need
- Recycled 2-liter pop bottle
- White and black acrylic craft paint
- Black permanent marker
- Pink crayon
[NOTE: Before painting the bottle needs to be 'primed'. Amanda Formaro, craft designer and featured contributor to Kaboose, suggests using Liquitex Basics Acrylic Gesso which creates a smooth, absorbent painting surface.]
Use the primer and craft paint to color the bottle white, then add the polar bear's facial features with the black permanent marker and pink crayon. From there, decorate as you please! Amanda created a hat using an old sock and yarn, as well as mittens from a second old sock!
