Old MacDonald Had A Farm... - Summer Bulletin Board Idea
No reviews
Check out this adorable farm bulletin board designed by kindergarten teacher, Michelle Griffo, over at Apples and ABC's! Pairing a writing exercise with a cutesy animal craft, this colorful board will brighten up any early childhood learning space.
Farm Bulletin Board Idea
- Background: Royal blue bulletin board paper.
- Title: None needed.
- Border: Colorful pattern border or farm themed trimmer.
- Decoration: 1) The Barn. Cut a large rectangle, triangle, and trapezoid from red bulletin board paper. Assemble the pieces to create the barn, adding the door detailing with 1-inch strips of white bulletin board paper and hay lofts with sky blue background paper and yellow construction paper. 2) The Cows & Pigs. Michelle offers the templates for the cow and pig crafts at her TpT store - isn't that great! Along with the templates, you'll need white, pink, green, and brown construction paper, pink and black ink pads, circle sponges, pink chenille stems, and white card stock. Your kiddos will have a blast making these crafts and writing about what they've learned!
