Hugs & Kisses for Father's Day
While the holiday will most likely come around after school has let out for the summer, help your students prepare for their Father's Day celebrations with these simple and fun crafts from Discover Preschool Activities!
Hugs & Kisses
Provide each of your students with a small wooden, cardboard, or paper box. It doesn't really matter what they look like because they'll be decorated. Set up a decorating station, offering stickers, scraps of colorful crafting papers, feathers, pom poms, glitter, old magazines, newspaper, craft paint etc. Invite your students to choose several items and decorate their boxes. When these are fully dry, help them fill the box with Easter grass or gift basket grass and place an assortment of Hershey's kisses, hugs, and other candies in the gift box. Finally, help them pen the following poem onto a piece of card stock:
Daddy I Love You
Daddy, I love you
For all that you do.
I'll kiss you and hug you
'Cause you love me, too.
You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile 'cause I love you
On this Father's Day.
