St. Patrick's Day - Leprechaun Finder
We recently stumbled across Happy Home Fairy, a site created by the uber creative, Julie, and {as we previously mentioned} it's become a fast favorite! I know we featured her fabulous treasure pots only yesterday, but simply had to pass Julie's adorable leprechaun finder along too - it's one of the cutest St. Patrick's Day crafts we've come across!
Supplies You'll Need
- Green card stock
- Green cellophane, holiday treat sack, or themed cling wrap
- Double sided tape
- St. Patrick's Day stickers
Once your kiddos have put their leprechaun finders together - go on a hunt! To make it more interesting, you might consider leaving traces of gold glitter {or "leprechaun dust"} around the room for your little ones to find. Successful or not, your students are sure to have a blast looking in cupboards, behind bookshelves, in craft drawers, etc. to find the elusive leprechaun!
Pair this activity with the writing prompt, "If I caught a leprechaun...", to boost your kiddos' creativity and excitement, as well as create some fun holiday memories!
For the full project tutorial, be sure to visit Happy Home Fairy! [NOTE: Make sure you take the time to explore all of Julie's great ideas! If you find it half as addicting as we did, you'll need to make sure you have time to spare! :)]
