Magazine Clipping Pumpkins
No reviews
We found this fabulous alternative to carving pumpkins at Family Fun and think this "less messy" option would be a perfect {and festive!} activity for your classroom Halloween party!
Supplies You'll Need
- Small pumpkins
- Recycled magazines
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Embellishments {sequins, buttons, yarn, etc. - optional}
Armed with a pair of craft scissors, invite your kiddos to scour the magazines to find eyes, a nose, a mouth, ears, and even hair for their pumpkin {as well as anything else they'd like to include - glasses, bracelets, earrings, etc}. Gluing their finds onto their pumpkin, you'll end up with an eclectic mix of quirky pumpkin people! This process is certainly a lot less sticky than scooping out pumpkin guts!
Be sure to head on over to Family Fun for tips and tricks on creating your own "freaky" pumpkin faces!
