Sensory Fun - Rainbow Slime!
Morgan over at Tot Treasures recently posted this rainbow slime activity and we thought it might be a great sensory exercise for a rainy summer day!
Supplies You'll Need
- Clear glue
- Liquid starch
- Mixing bowls
- Food coloring in assorted colors
Once mixed, your kiddos will have a good old time squishing, squeezing, kneading, pulling, stretching, pressing, mixing and exploring the rainbow slime! A word of warning, we haven't tried this so it's definitely unproven, but we were thinking it might be fun to add other sensory elements to the slime. For example, add smell with kool-aid or essential oils {lavender, peppermint, etc.}, create sparkle with a bit of glitter, etc.
