Jump to download options

As the weather gets colder, and the kids spend more time inside, it's hard to keep them busy! This festive activity is a great companion to our Christmas Ornament Alphabet Matching Activity and is sure to help pass the time indoors! This activity is great for teaching number recognition, counting, and matching!

  1. First, print all of the pages in the download.
  2. Then, cut out all of the ornaments.
  3. Next, cut each ornament into three pieces. (To add extra durability you can also laminate them once they're cut apart.)
  4. Put all of the pieces in a box or bin and mix them all up. Your students can then start drawing pieces out of the box and matching up the number, spelled out number, and picture that represents the correct number of items. It's a fun activity to do in groups or individually.
