Along the same lines as a 'write the room' activity, we thought a Christmas themed 'count the room' would also be fun for your kiddos! Simply arrange the cards around the room and invite your kiddos to find, count, and record the number of objects on each!
For fun, there are two variations to choose from;
- Shape Match. Print the activity cards - including the shape beneath each card - inviting students to count the number of objects on the card, identify and match the shape on the card to the one on their recording sheet, then write the number of objects in the shape.
- Object Match. Print the activity cards - cutting off the shape strip at the bottom of each - inviting students to count the number of objects on the card, find the matching object on their recording sheet, then write the number on the line beneath it.
