While it's great to search around for interesting and unique Valentine's Day activities, it can get rather time consuming. We were super excited to run across these newly released V-Day themed printables, created by Jolanthe of Homeschool Creations, and figured they were a no-brainer. Her resources are phenomenal, the worksheets cover multiple concepts/skills, and the the pack is completely FREE - we highly recommend that you head over to her site for this, and lots of other great themed worksheet packs! Cupid Patterning

Students will have a blast using the Valentine themed icons to copy patterns and create their own sequences! Jolanthe provides a patterning activity mat, but we thought this exercise would work fabulous when printed on magnet paper and used with a recycled cookie sheet. You might also try creating "human" patterns as a class, providing each student with an image tile and inviting them to line up to create a specific sequence.
